Mortgage Loan Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loan Specialist to support Sr. Processors and Processing Manager in loan documentation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers, loan agents, and third parties to gather necessary loan documentation
- Request, review, and verify loan documents to ensure accuracy before underwriting
- Coordinate loan closings and maintain communication regarding loan status updates
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 1-2 years of experience in processing mortgage loans
- Proficient with Encompass or similar mortgage loan origination systems
- Understanding of compliance regulations and investor guidelines
- Advanced knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and other loan programs
- Familiarity with federal and state guidelines such as RESPA, TILA, HMDA
