Mortgage Operations Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage operation, the full-time Mortgage Operations Manager will provide strategic leadership across multiple departments, ensuring compliance and efficiency while managing teams in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operational performance across mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing departments
• Lead and develop department leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Analyze operational metrics to drive data-informed decisions and enhance workflow efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field, or equivalent mortgage industry experience
• 5+ years of recent experience in mortgage operations with leadership responsibilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and compliance requirements
• Experience with Loan Origination Systems, preferably Encompass
• Strong understanding of automation and AI technologies in operational processes
