Mortgage Post Closing Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Mortgage Post Closing Specialist, this full-time remote position will manage the review of incoming trailing documents, ensure timely delivery of loan files to investors, and clear investor conditions to facilitate the efficient sale of loans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming trailing documents and maintain accurate documentation on loan file progress
• Perform data entry and generate reports within the Loan Origination System
• Conduct weekly follow-ups with settlement companies and attorneys for missing documents

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mortgage operations
• Processing or underwriting experience preferred
• Prior experience with loan documents and title work
• Strong working knowledge of Encompass, DU, and LP software preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
