Mortgage Processing Specialist (CA)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Operations Processing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the loan pipeline and ensure timely submission and closing of loan-related files
• Act as a liaison between underwriting, loan originators, and applicants to facilitate loan approval
• Utilize pipeline reports to prioritize daily workflow and maintain knowledge of guidelines and loan programs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of residential mortgage processing experience
• Working knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
• Obtain Mortgage Loan Officer license within 180 days, if not already licensed
• Experience with Desktop Underwriting (DU) and/or Loan Product Advisor (LPA) required
• FHA/VA product experience preferred, but not required
