Mortgage Processing Team Lead

Job Summary

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Processing Department, the full-time remote Mortgage Processing Team Lead will manage an active mortgage loan pipeline while mentoring team members and ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Loan Processors regarding systems, guidelines, and workflows
• Assist with onboarding and training new processors on products, systems, and departmental expectations
• Monitor pipeline activity and provide support for escalated or aging files as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of mortgage processing experience
• Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA/RD, and Non-Agency loan products
• Strong understanding of mortgage processing workflows and regulatory compliance
• Prior experience training or mentoring others preferred
