Job Summary

Organizing mortgage loan documentation, the fully remote Mortgage Processor will verify borrower information, prepare disclosures, and coordinate loan closing and funding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Verify borrower information by ordering credit reports and reviewing documentation from various parties
• Prepare and review loan packages to ensure completeness before submitting to underwriting
• Coordinate the closing and funding of loans with relevant stakeholders after loan approval

Required qualifications

• Basic knowledge of lender's and investor's underwriting and program guidelines
• Ability to prepare state and federally required disclosures
• Experience managing a processing pipeline
• Knowledge of basic underwriting guidelines, including income calculation and asset assessment
• 1-2 years of experience in mortgage processing is preferred, depending on the opening
