Mortgage Processor

Job Summary

To ensure accurate and timely loan processing, the full-time Mortgage Processor will review, prepare, and verify loan documentation while coordinating with loan originators, borrowers, and third-party vendors in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of at least 25 loans monthly, ensuring efficient processing and timely closings
• Review new loan files for accuracy and completeness within 48 business hours and act as a liaison to resolve loan-related issues
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies while preparing and distributing pipeline and aging reports

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Minimum one year of mortgage processing experience required
• Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and experience with Encompass or similar loan origination software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
