Mortgage Quality Control Analyst

Job Summary

Performing comprehensive reviews of closed mortgage loan files, the full-time Mortgage Quality Control Analyst will ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and compliance with federal and state regulations while working in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct post-closing quality control reviews of mortgage loan files for accuracy and compliance
• Identify deficiencies and document findings, recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks
• Track defect trends and communicate results to management and operational teams

Required qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience in mortgage underwriting, quality control, auditing, or post-closing
• Strong knowledge of conventional underwriting guidelines and federal mortgage regulations
• Experience reviewing mortgage loan documentation and underwriting decisions
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Ability to manage multiple reviews and meet established deadlines
