Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Review and underwrite conventional and Non-QM mortgage loan applications
Analyze credit, income, assets, and collateral documentation for borrower qualifications
Evaluate risk, identify potential fraud, and ensure compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of mortgage underwriting experience with conventional and Non-QM products
Extensive experience with DSCR loans, bank statement loans, and jumbo loans
Thorough understanding of FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and federal mortgage regulations
Strong analytical skills to assess risk and make sound decisions
Proficiency with mortgage underwriting software and tools
