Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter I to perform reviews of various loan types and ensure compliance with guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage individual pipeline by completing underwriting and appraisal reviews
• Identify document deficiencies and request additional information from clients
• Assist in interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating loan status for customers

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry practices
• Understanding of regulatory and legal compliance obligations
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
