Mortgage Underwriter II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter II.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of project documentation to ensure project eligibility and support accurate loan decisions
• Review and underwrite condominium project approvals in accordance with company guidelines and investor standards
• Manage individual pipeline by completing Underwriting Reviews and conditions reviews within defined turn times

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry practices and regulations
• Intermediate knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
