Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter II.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve condominium projects for Agency, Non-QM, and FHA loans in compliance with guidelines
• Conduct assessments of project documentation to ensure eligibility and support loan decisions
• Manage individual pipeline by completing underwriting reviews and addressing conditions within defined turn times

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry or residential mortgage loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry practices and compliance obligations
• Intermediate knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
