Mortgage Underwriter II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter II.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve condominium projects for various loan types in accordance with internal guidelines and investor requirements
• Conduct detailed assessments of project documentation and manage individual pipeline through Underwriting Reviews and conditions reviews
• Identify document deficiencies and request additional information from customers as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or related field
• High school diploma required
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry and applicable regulatory compliance
• Intermediate knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
