Mortgage Underwriter II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter II.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve condominium projects and Agency Conventional loans in compliance with internal guidelines and investor requirements
• Conduct assessments of project documentation and manage individual underwriting pipeline to ensure timely reviews
• Identify document deficiencies and communicate with customers regarding outstanding conditions and necessary information

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry practices and regulatory compliance
• Intermediate knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
