Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter - III.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Government and Conventional loans by reviewing credit, capacity, and collateral characteristics
• Manage individual pipeline, completing underwriting reviews and conditions reviews within defined turn times
• Assist department colleagues in interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating loan statuses and conditions

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry, including regulatory and compliance obligations
• Advanced knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
