Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Government and Conventional loans by reviewing loan files for compliance with quality standards
• Manage individual pipeline by completing underwriting and appraisal reviews within defined turn times
• Assist in interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating customers on loan status and conditions

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry operations and products
• Advanced understanding of regulatory compliance obligations and industry standards
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
