Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter - III.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Government and Conventional loans by reviewing credit, capacity, and collateral characteristics to meet quality standards
• Manage individual pipeline, completing underwriting reviews, appraisal reviews, and condition reviews within defined turn times
• Identify document deficiencies, request additional information from customers, and assist in interpreting underwriting guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting
• High school diploma required
• Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry, including regulatory compliance and industry standards
• Advanced knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
