Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Conventional, FHA, VA, and state bond program loans for accuracy and compliance
• Calculate income and summarize findings effectively
• Review borrower credit history and collaborate with team members for timely underwriting decisions

Required Qualifications and Education

• At least 5 years' experience as a mortgage underwriter
• Direct Endorsement (DE) Certification preferred
• Proficiency with DU and LP
• Ability to underwrite various loan types including Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA
• Strong understanding of credit and complex financial documents
