Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Underwriting - Mortgage Lending.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage a non-QM underwriting team while ensuring performance accountability
• Develop and enforce underwriting guidelines and continuously evolve credit policy
• Oversee end-to-end underwriting workflows, ensuring compliance and quality control

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of mortgage underwriting leadership experience
• Deep experience with non-QM products, including DSCR and bridge/RTL
• Strong understanding of credit risk and loan structuring
• Experience in building or scaling underwriting teams in a high-growth environment
• Familiarity with LOS systems and underwriting workflows
