Mortgage Underwriting Trainer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriting Trainer who will enhance the underwriting team's skills and performance through training and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and coach Underwriters and Junior Underwriters on guidelines and best practices
- Develop and maintain training materials for various loan products
- Review loan files and provide underwriting coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of mortgage underwriting experience
- At least 1 year of underwriting training, coaching, or mentoring experience
- Experience with Conventional, FHA, and USDA loan products
- Strong knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines and loan documentation
- Ability to analyze borrower financials and assess loan risk
