MOT Principal Designer

Job Summary

Supporting transformative transportation projects, the full-time remote MOT Principal Designer will lead 3D modeling of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and construction staging using OpenRoads Designer, ensuring high-quality deliverables and collaboration across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 3D modeling efforts for MOT and construction staging on major projects
• Develop integrated 3D models and coordinate with other discipline models to ensure consistency
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring on 3D modeling best practices to team members

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in drafting/design technology or equivalent technical education and experience
• 10+ years of experience in transportation CADD production with substantial 3D modeling experience
• Demonstrated experience in developing 3D models for roadway or MOT applications on complex projects
• Strong knowledge of CADD standards, workflows, and file management for large projects
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
