Motion Design Specialist

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the remote Motion Design Specialist will create high-quality animations and interaction flows, enhancing product usability and user experience while defining motion principles and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, producers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for motion to enhance usability and communication
• Create animations, transition concepts, and motion studies that elevate the overall product experience
• Communicate motion intent to engineering teams, ensuring high-quality implementation in production

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of motion design experience at a studio, product company, or digital agency
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion craft and interaction design
• Solid understanding of UX and user-centered design principles
• Proficiency with Figma, Lottie/Bodymovin, and motion design workflows
• Experience with tools such as After Effects or Cinema 4D is a plus
