Motion Designer

Job Summary

To anchor the visual motion language of enterprise video work, the remote Motion Designer will design and build a scalable motion design system, create reusable templates, and partner with video leads while working primarily during PST hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable motion design system for various enterprise video formats
• Create reusable After Effects templates and project files for consistent use by in-house editors and external vendors
• Develop motion treatments that simplify complex ideas and ensure consistency across multiple video formats

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in motion design for brand, product, editorial, or enterprise content
• Portfolio demonstrating at least one end-to-end motion system
• Deep expertise in After Effects and collaboration with Premiere editors
• Strong systems mindset with experience in creating templates and scalable toolkits
• Excellent typography, composition, and visual storytelling skills
