Motion Designer and Video Editor

Job Summary

To support a dynamic marketing team, the part-time contract Motion Designer and Video Editor will create compelling motion graphics and short-format videos, translating scripts into high-impact visual content while working remotely on project-based assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Translate briefs into storyboards and propose visual approaches for video projects
• Edit videos for narrative clarity and deliver platform-specific versions while ensuring a polished look
• Collaborate with marketing and creative directors to align visual narratives with brand standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional editing experience with a portfolio showcasing short-form work
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong understanding of social media specifications and best practices for video content
• Proven ability to craft stories from stock assets and minimal footage, with attention to audio and color fundamentals
