Job Summary
To support client technology roadmaps, the full-time onsite MQ Series Expert will develop strategic account plans, partner with stakeholders for mainframe modernization proposals, and deliver presentations on core mainframe technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop strategic account plans aligning client technology with mainframe solutions to drive long-term revenue growth
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape mainframe modernization proposals tied to business outcomes
- Prepare proposals and coordinate with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
Required qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of DB2 administration/programming
- Hands-on experience with VSAM file structures and performance tuning
- Strong JCL skills for interpreting batch processes
- Solid COBOL experience for assessing business logic and modernization paths
- Familiarity with IBM MQ messaging patterns for integration
