Job Summary
To drive long-term revenue growth, the remote MQ Series Expert will develop strategic account plans, partner with client stakeholders for mainframe modernization proposals, and collaborate with solution architects to build comprehensive solution narratives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop strategic account plans aligning client technology roadmaps with mainframe solutions
- Partner with client stakeholders to shape mainframe modernization proposals tied to business outcomes
- Prepare proposals, SOWs, and effort estimates for complex engagements while maintaining accurate CRM data
Required qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of DB2 administration/programming for evaluating data-centric solution feasibility
- Hands-on experience with VSAM file structures and performance tuning
- Strong JCL skills for interpreting batch processes and estimating change impacts
- Solid COBOL experience to assess business logic and modernization/integration paths
- CICS background covering transaction flows, concurrency, and resiliency design
