Multi-Media Journalist

Job Summary

Ambitious and creative, the full-time Multi-Media Journalist will tell Irish racing stories through video, social media, and written content, engaging audiences across platforms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create and star in video content for social platforms and YouTube, including short-form clips and contributions to Racing Post shows
• Attend race meetings and events to produce both video and written content on-site
• Develop and pitch ideas for new video and social-first formats to grow the audience on digital platforms

Required qualifications

• Good knowledge of horseracing and betting
• Experience creating video or social-first content, including a personal portfolio or active social channels
• Strong written communication skills and an instinct for storytelling across formats
• Comfort appearing on camera and ability to communicate confidently
• Understanding of social platforms and how to create engaging content for them
