Multi-State Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

To provide clinical and operational oversight for a team of physicians and nurse practitioners, the full-time Multi-State Licensed Medical Director will ensure high-quality client care, support multidisciplinary collaboration, and engage in direct client care as needed while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support physicians and nurse practitioners, ensuring compliance with medical policies and best practices
• Provide direct client care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team during high volume periods or provider leave
• Partner with HR and IT to facilitate provider onboarding, credentialing, and address operational challenges with EHR systems

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license (multi-state licensure preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds
• 5+ years of clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health or eating disorders
• Prior experience supervising physicians and/or advanced practice providers strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of EHR systems and medical compliance standards
