Multi-State Licensed Nurse Educator

Job Summary

To support a diverse student population, the part-time Multi-State Licensed Nurse Educator will create engaging learning environments, provide individualized instructional support, and participate in scholarship and service activities, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment through regular communication and engagement with students
• Provide feedback and individualized support to foster students' academic and professional growth
• Participate in scholarship and service activities that align with the institution's mission and vision

Required qualifications

• Earned doctorate (PhD in Nursing or DNP with Nurse Educator specialization preferred)
• Multi-State/Compact RN License is required; Minnesota RN license is a plus
• National League for Nursing Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Nursing Professional Development Board Certified (NPD BC) credential is required
• Three or more years of teaching experience, preferably in online or virtual environments
• Demonstrated capacity to support Walden University's mission and vision through application materials
