Job Summary
Leading a team of frontline nurses, the full-time remote Multi-State Licensed Oncology Nurse Lead will manage clinical escalations, provide ongoing training and mentoring, and drive team performance while ensuring high standards of care for members throughout their cancer journey.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage frontline nurse teams, ensuring operational efficiency and clinical care quality
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to enhance team performance and collaboration
- Act as an escalation point for clinical issues and support care coordination for members
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a multi-state, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) compact license
- At least 8 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a management role within oncology or case management
- Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), or Certified Case Manager (CCM)
- Proven leadership skills with experience in coaching and mentoring nursing teams
- Familiarity with healthcare operations and technology, including electronic health records and communication tools
