Multi-State Licensed Registered Nurse

Job Summary

Seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Multi-State Licensed Registered Nurse, the full-time remote Care Advisor will provide telephonic clinical assessments, health education, and utilization management services to diverse patient populations while working a schedule that includes at least two weekend days every two weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments using telecommunications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
• Utilize critical thinking to identify patient care needs and provide appropriate health education and referrals
• Adhere to nursing standards and company policies while processing calls based on Quality Management guidelines

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN licensure in a compact state and the ability to maintain a multi-state license
• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in ER, adult and pediatric care, or acute areas
• Experience with telephone triage and understanding of health benefit plans is beneficial
• Ability to run multiple computer programs simultaneously and manage time effectively
