Multi-State Licensed Senior Transmission Planner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Transmission Planner - Technical Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute various transmission planning studies and mentor junior engineers
• Support business development and prepare proposals while executing project tasks based on scope, schedule, and budget
• Collaborate with professionals from diverse disciplines and ensure technical reports effectively communicate findings and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of relevant experience in power generation, transmission, and distribution
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred)
• Experience with power system software such as PSSE, PSLF, and/or PSCAD
• Strong knowledge of engineering laws, codes, regulations, and compliance practices
