Job Summary
To support a growing virtual urgent care practice, the full-time Multi-State Licensed Telehealth Physician will deliver remote care to patients, provide clinical supervision to advanced practice providers, and promote a collaborative team environment while managing patient care in a virtual observation unit.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct care in the virtual urgent care and observation unit, focusing on patient management and clinical outcomes
- Provide clinical supervision and teaching to a team of advanced practice providers, fostering a supportive clinical environment
- Connect patients with primary care and comprehensive care programs, ensuring continuity of care and addressing urgent health needs
Required qualifications
- Board-certified physician with at least 3 years post-residency experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care
- Preferred telehealth experience and multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain
- Adept at using electronic health data and medical record systems, including telehealth platforms
- Experience in acute care settings, such as Emergency Departments or Urgent Care
- Commitment to advocating for care equity and accessibility for vulnerable populations
