Job Summary
To support a high-volume virtual care environment, the part-time contract Virtual Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner will provide acute care through virtual visits, leveraging advanced technology to enhance clinical decision-making and patient management across multiple states.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual urgent care visits, assessing patients with acute conditions
- Utilize pre-populated patient summaries to make timely clinical decisions
- Document encounters thoroughly and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care delivery
Required qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) with an active and unrestricted license in the U.S
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine or virtual urgent care
- Active licensure in at least 30 U.S. states, including key states like Georgia, Texas, or New York
- Proficiency in navigating telemedicine platforms and managing technology-mediated interactions
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends
