Job Summary
To oversee and optimize core HR operational functions, the full-time remote Multi-State Payroll Generalist will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with regulations, and administer employee benefits in a high-volume retail and services environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws
- Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform, maintaining data integrity and optimizing system functionality
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including managing open enrollment and resolving employee inquiries
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources preferred
- 5+ years of progressive HR operations experience, specifically in multi-state payroll for 600+ employees
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Rippling
- Solid understanding of payroll compliance and benefits regulations
- Experience in retail or service-based organizations is preferred
