Multi-State Payroll Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Manager to manage end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-state, in-house payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees, ensuring accurate year-end reporting
• Manage payroll workflows and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for payroll systems and collaborate with various teams on payroll-related matters

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 6-8 years of experience in calculating and processing in-house multi-state payroll
• Prior experience with payroll/HRIS and time and attendance systems
• Thorough knowledge of Federal and State HR/Payroll Laws and IRS regulations impacting payroll
• Strong working knowledge of 401(k) payroll deductions and compliance requirements
