Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Manager to manage end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Process multi-state, in-house payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees, ensuring accurate year-end reporting
- Manage payroll workflows and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for payroll systems and collaborate with various teams on payroll-related matters
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 6-8 years of experience in calculating and processing in-house multi-state payroll
- Prior experience with payroll/HRIS and time and attendance systems
- Thorough knowledge of Federal and State HR/Payroll Laws and IRS regulations impacting payroll
- Strong working knowledge of 401(k) payroll deductions and compliance requirements
