Multi-State Payroll Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Payroll responsible for overseeing payroll operations for a workforce of over 1,000 employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end processing of on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls across multiple states
• Serve as the Workday Payroll subject matter expert, ensuring accurate payroll configuration and reporting
• Manage payroll tax processes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership roles
• Experience managing payroll for 1,000+ employees in a multi-state environment
• Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Payroll and Payroll Tax
