Job Summary

Owning end-to-end payroll operations, the full-time Multi-State Payroll Manager will manage payroll processes for corporate staff and salaried clinicians remotely, ensuring compliance and accuracy while utilizing modern HRIS platforms like Rippling and Betterment.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee payroll execution, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments, including variable and incentive compensation
  • Manage the end-to-end variable compensation lifecycle, including compensation letters and annual salary benchmarking
  • Coordinate state registrations and payroll rules for new state expansions, while executing routine internal payroll audits
Required qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive multi-state payroll experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Rippling or similar HRIS/payroll platforms
  • Experience managing digital 401(k) platforms, specifically Betterment or similar
  • High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and compensation modeling
  • Deep compliance expertise, including annual 401(k) testing and payroll tax regulations
