Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist I to process payroll in a multi-state environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathers and analyzes employee time reports for accuracy and reports discrepancies
  • Calculates payroll amounts, determines withholdings, and distributes paychecks or reviews direct deposit instructions
  • Prepares and analyzes payroll reports for management and assists employees with payroll inquiries
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in multi-state payroll functions and general accounting
  • PeopleSoft Payroll experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
