Job Summary

Managing the payroll process for multiple states, the full-time salaried Multi-State Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain payroll records, and collaborate with Human Resources while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform complete and accurate processing of biweekly multi-state payrolls for exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Manage payroll operations, including salaries, benefits, and payroll taxes, in coordination with Human Resources
  • Conduct audits and prepare payroll reports for management and compliance purposes
Required qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with multi-state payroll administration
  • Experience in accounting journal entry preparation and annual audits
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and benefit principles
  • Proficient in Excel and HR systems
