Job Summary

A company is looking for an RN Telephone Triage to work remotely, primarily during evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient symptoms using physician-written algorithms and provide appropriate home care instructions
• Utilize resources to prioritize and advise on care options, including scheduling appointments or referrals
• Document all interactions and provide health education to assist patients in managing their symptoms

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current multi-state RN license with no restrictions
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency in computer use and typing at least 25 wpm
• Flexibility with scheduling and ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA
• Professional demeanor with excellent listening skills and a courteous telephone voice
