Multi-State RN Telephone Triage

Job Summary

To utilize their nursing skills in a remote setting, the full-time and part-time Multi-State RN Telephone Triage will assess symptoms, deliver health education, and guide patients to appropriate care levels while working evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Assess symptoms using clinical algorithms to determine the best course of action for patients
• Deliver and document health education to assist patients in managing their symptoms
• Consult with physicians as needed to ensure appropriate patient care

Required qualifications

• Current multi-state RN license with no restrictions
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency in computer use with a typing speed of at least 25 wpm
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills for effective patient assessment
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and handle confidential information
