Multi-State RN Telephone Triage

Job Summary

To deliver quality nursing care in a remote setting, the full-time and part-time Multi-State RN Telephone Triage will assess patient symptoms, provide health education, and guide patients to the appropriate level of care, with evening and weekend shifts required.

Key responsibilities

• Assess symptoms using physician-developed clinical algorithms
• Deliver and document health education to assist patients in managing their symptoms
• Consult with physicians as needed to ensure appropriate patient care

Required qualifications

• Current multi-state RN license with no restrictions
• At least 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency in computer use with a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and handle confidential information
