Multifamily PV Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Multifamily PV Designer to create solar photovoltaic system designs for multifamily residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs multifamily/commercial PV systems to maximize production and reduce installation costs
• Manages third-party consultants and coordinates with engineering and utility groups for project facilitation
• Collaborates with various teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years residential PV design experience, including 1 year of commercial PV design experience
• NABCEP certification preferred
• Superior knowledge of AutoCAD, NEC, IBC, and applicable fire codes
• In-depth understanding of interconnection methods and utility variance protocols
