Job Summary

Leading complex multifamily mortgage fraud investigations, the full-time remote Multifamily Underwriting Fraud Investigation - Lead Associate will apply underwriting expertise and forensic analysis to assess allegations, conduct research, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform forensic underwriting reviews of multifamily loan files to identify potential fraud and related issues
• Plan and document inquiries into allegations of multifamily mortgage fraud across various loan activities
• Analyze borrower and property documentation to assess fraud indicators and prepare investigative reports

Required qualifications

• 4 years of relevant multifamily underwriting experience
• Experience in financial, credit, and trend analysis related to multifamily or commercial real estate lending
• Strong analytical skills to identify inconsistencies and potential misrepresentations in loan files
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for organizing and analyzing investigative data
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
