Multiline Underwriting Consultant

Job Summary

To support a major multiline expansion initiative, the temporary Multiline Corporate Underwriting Consultant will lead the development and documentation of underwriting guidelines across various lines of insurance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and enhancement of underwriting guidelines and appetite frameworks across multiple lines of insurance
• Create underwriting authority guidance and decision-making standards to ensure consistency in underwriting practices
• Design and deliver virtual and in-person underwriting training sessions for onboarding and continuous education

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience
• Strong multiline underwriting expertise across commercial property, general liability, commercial auto, commercial umbrella/excess, inland marine, and crime
• Demonstrated experience developing underwriting guidelines and appetite frameworks
• Proven ability to create and deliver underwriting training programs
• Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration capabilities
