Multilingual PHI Annotation Specialist

Job Summary

Multilingual PHI Annotation Specialist is a part-time, hourly position responsible for annotating and validating Protected Health Information (PHI) entities in spoken and written healthcare content to improve multilingual datasets used in healthcare language technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate and validate PHI entities in audio recordings and written summaries
• Ensure accurate reflection of entities in both formats and detect inconsistencies
• Follow detailed annotation guidelines and perform self-reviews for quality assurance

Required Qualifications

• Native speaker of one of the specified target locales (e.g., French, German, English)
• At least one year of experience in data annotation, transcription, or PHI annotation
• Strong knowledge of regional language use and colloquial expressions
• Ability to accurately identify named entities such as persons, organizations, and locations
• Access to necessary technology, including a computer, internet, and audio equipment
