Multistate Licensed Clinical Triage Nurse

Job Summary

Providing critical healthcare guidance remotely, the full-time Multistate Licensed Clinical Triage Nurse will assess patient symptoms, deliver medical advice, and coordinate care with the healthcare team while managing inbound sick calls and reviewing clinical test results.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritizes and responds promptly to inbound phone calls and voicemails from patients
• Conducts thorough assessments of patients' symptoms and medical history over the phone, utilizing evidence-based guidelines for urgency classification
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure patient needs are met and follow-ups are completed effectively

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing education program as a Registered Nurse
• Current valid RN license with the ability to obtain and maintain licensure in all service states within 6 months of hire
• Satisfactory completion of required nursing continuing education requirements
• Strong comprehension of medical terminology and pharmaceuticals
• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
