Job Summary
To support the College of Nursing, the part-time Multistate Licensed Nursing Faculty will provide teaching and instruction to students in a remote setting, engaging in course delivery, student communication, and curriculum maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses, facilitating live lectures and maintaining student engagement
- Provide timely feedback on student submissions and conduct weekly outreach to support struggling students
- Serve as a subject matter expert, assisting with curriculum reviews and addressing academic integrity concerns
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing for undergraduate courses or terminal degree in nursing/related field for graduate courses from an accredited institution
- Active, unencumbered multistate nursing licensure
- Experience teaching in an online environment at the college/university level
- Familiarity with Blackboard learning management system (preferred)
- Certification in nursing education (preferred)
