Multistate Licensed RN Behavioral Health

Job Summary

Providing acute mental health crisis evaluation, the full-time Multistate Licensed RN Behavioral Health will work remotely on nights, conducting assessments and crisis interventions for patients of all ages while managing inquiries and collaborating with care providers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct rapid psychosocial assessments, including suicide/homicide risk evaluations, to determine appropriate care levels
• Assist telemedicine sites with patient placement for psychiatric inpatient beds and provide mental health support through de-escalation strategies
• Maintain an updated database of patient information and ensure excellent customer service as the point of contact for eCare Behavioral Health services

Required qualifications

• Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program preferred; graduation from an approved nursing program acceptable
• At least two years of Behavioral Health nursing experience preferred
• Active unrestricted multistate RN license required
• Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHN) by the ANCC preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
